We take great pleasure in inviting you to the inaugural edition of our annual social entrepreneurship convention, iPreneur 2011, on 11th-12th February 2011 at TISS, Mumbai. The convention is expected to witness a gathering of some of the established as well as budding social entrepreneurs, prominent academicians, thought leaders, professionals and contributors in development sector, enthusiastic youth and a huge student community from across India to discuss, deliberate, witness and experience various aspects of social entrepreneurship with a special focus on the theme -“Solutions through innovation”.
The convention is developed with the following intentions
- Create a wide platform for knowledge generation and dissemination on the theme – “Solutions through Innovation”
- Discuss and understand the concept of social entrepreneurship
- Highlight the relevance of social entrepreneurship in current context
- Explore opportunities in social entrepreneurship, specially for youth
- Showcase potential social innovations and provide a nurturing platform
