Engineer 2010 is the technical festival organizes by NITK Surathkal, which will organize on 22nd to 25th Oct, 2010.The fest that brought together CERN, MIT Media and Bell Labs and catered to a participation pool of over 5000 students from 150 colleges across 43 countries, now presents its latest edition of one of India’s biggest inter-collegiate technical showcases, Engineer 2010!
The essence of being an Engineer does not lie in the ability to fill the gaps in existing technology; it lies instead in the art of original thinking, in creating new avenues as yet unexplored. It is this spark of inspiration that converts an idea, through the aid of science to a plan on paper and later to working real…ity. In tribute to this all important aspect of engineering we celebrate ENGINEER, the technical symposium of NITK Surathkal.
Over four action filled days of technical contests, inspiring lectures,insightful and informative seminars and many more exciting activities,we live the spirit of an Engineer, of innovation and enquiry, where technology meets art and science comes together with creativity. This year’s fest promises to live upto the l…ofty principles it stands for and presents an extraordinary opportunity for all young technologists to discover the Engineer within themselves. Aranya is a major technical fest in northern India which attracts many of the techno freaks from all over the country.
