Introduction:

From the very beginning of civilization, we are using materials in any form. With the advent of new technologies, the need of specific materials is growing very rapidly. Therefore, to fulfill these requirements, newer materials, advanced synthesis and characterization techniques need to be developed. This conference is being organized by JUET, Guna in collaboration with Lucknow.

Call for Papers

Technical papers, research findings and case studies on the conference theme are invited from academicians, researchers, and practitioners from the India and abroad. Detailed abstract (min. of one page max. of two pages in specified format) giving details of findings should be sent to ramse2010@gmail.com. Symposium on Education in Rural India

Introduction:

The IIT Madras Symposium is an annually held conference that, to put it simply, aims to introduce and excite students about current pressing problems that Indian society faces and how its solutions might be approached, in a multi-disciplinary and holistic fashion.

This year, the Symposium looks to tackle the multi-faceted theme of Education in Rural India. The Symposium hopes to explore different angles to the issue such as the curriculum and infrastructure, lack of skilled teachers, and the use of technology.

  • These are full fledged studies based on hypothesis driven research. They will be Power Point presentations of 8 minutes duration with 2 minutes for questions and discussion. The abstract for this category will have to be divided into:

    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • Clinical relevance statement
  • The abstract limit is 2500 characters including spaces. (this does not include the details of authors, institutions and the title of the abstract)
  • Select the appropriate subspecialty for the topic of abstract. This selection directs your abstract for review. Reviewers may swap abstract once received if they feel it will fit better in another subspecialty.
  • Abstract can be submitted only on the form available at the link on website.
  • Do not include references, acknowledgements, graphics, tables or figures in your abstract body as these will not be published in the abstract book.
  • Please make sure that your abstract is properly structured and proof-read concerning spellings and grammar. This will certainly have a positive impact on the quality of your submission.

Scientific / Educational Exhibits:

These would be in the form of digital posters in the format of an electronic slide show only and should convey the teaching point in a span of approximately ten minutes.

  • Scientific exhibits: This category will include full fledged scientific studies and the abstract structure and other instructions will be the same as that of oral scientific presentations.
  • Educational exhibits: This category will include presentations which highlight the spectrum of radiological findings of a disease entity, teach or review radiological signs, radiological-pathological correlation or describe an interventional radiological technique or a procedure.
    For this category the abstract should be divided into the following headings:
