Conquest 2011,Business Challenge Organised by CEL BITS Pilani

Conquest is a business challenge organized by Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership(CEL), BITS-Pilani . Over the past 10 years CEL has successfully implemented several successful projects to develop entrepreneurial thinking in the student fraternity.

Since 2004, we have been a part of the boost entrepreneurship has received in India, by organizing Conquest which is one of the biggest business competitions in Asia today, in terms of participation. Five of the last seven Conquest winners have started up within a year of winning the competition and some of them are multi-million companies now and have been featured in international media. This year, in its eighth edition, the participants can expect an unparalleled real world entrepreneurial experience tailor-made for their needs.

The opportunity to receive mentoring from investors and experienced entrepreneurs , vast funding opportunities ( early-stage seed funding and VC funding) and resources offered by our partners would help Idea Stage startups fine tune their business ideas and transform their idea into reality.
On the other hand, Late Stage startups stand to gain immensely from the scheduled networking opportunities with investors (Startup Lockup),intense interaction with and mentoring from industry experts, and constant feedback from our esteemed advisory board.

Some of this year’s highlights are:
- Startups would have the option to choose mentors of their choice ,to suit their requirements in terms of industry and location ,for face-to-face mentoring sessions over a period of one month.
-Speaker sessions by some of the biggest names in the corporate world would take place.
-There would be investment opportunities worth 1.5 crore apart from a huge prize money.
-The Startup Showcase

We are pleased to announce that applications for Conquest - The Business Plan Competition are now open. The deadline for the applications is 25th May.
